Data deletion

Data and account deletion

How to remove data related to ORD20 Wallet for iOS, ORD20 Wallet for Android and the ORD20 Wallet browser extension for Chrome and to ord20.io — and, just as important, what cannot be removed by anyone.

Last updated: 29 September 2026
There is no account to delete The ORD20 Wallet apps do not have accounts. There is no registration, no sign-in and no profile on our servers. You create or import a key on your device and it stays there. So there is nothing on our side tied to you that could be deleted.

What is stored, and where

WhereWhat
On your deviceYour private keys and recovery phrase, your wallet settings, and — in the browser extension — the list of sites you connected it to. All of it local.
On our serversNothing that identifies you. IP address logging is switched off, the website sets no cookies and there is no analytics. The index holds public blockchain data, which is not ours to begin with.
On the blockchainTransactions you signed and broadcast. Public and permanent.
In our emailOnly what you sent us, if you have written to us.

Deleting the data on your device

  • iOS: remove the wallet inside the app, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its keychain data.
  • Android: remove the wallet inside the app, or uninstall it and clear its app data.
  • Chrome extension: remove the wallet in the extension, or remove the extension from your browser; its storage goes with it.
This is irreversible Removing a wallet without a backup of the recovery phrase destroys your only way back to those tokens. Write the phrase down and store it offline before you delete anything, unless you are certain you no longer want access.

Asking us to delete something

If you have written to us and want that correspondence removed, or you want to know whether we hold anything about you at all, email hello@ord20.io from the address you used. Say what you want removed. We do not need identity documents for this and we will not ask for any.

We answer without undue delay and in any case within one month, as Article 12(3) of the GDPR requires. If there is nothing to delete, we will say so rather than leave you guessing.

What cannot be deleted

Transactions on the Bitcoin SV blockchain cannot be deleted or changed, by us or by anyone else. That is how a public blockchain works and it is the property that makes tokens verifiable. Our index reads that public data; removing our copy would change nothing, because the data is on the chain, not in our database.

We may also need to keep certain records where the law requires it, for example for tax or fraud-prevention purposes. Where that applies, we keep the minimum for the period required and nothing beyond it.
