Questions about the ORD20 apps, the website or the protocol come to one address, and a person reads them.

We answer as soon as we can, and any request about your personal data within one month, as the GDPR requires.

Before you write

A few things come up often, and the answer is faster here than in an inbox.

I lost my recovery phrase

Then the tokens in that wallet cannot be recovered — not by us, not by anyone. The wallet is non-custodial: the key exists only on your device and only you ever had it. We are sorry, and we would rather say this plainly than let you hope otherwise. If you still have the phrase, back it up somewhere offline before you do anything else.

My balance looks wrong

Balances come from our index, which follows the chain. If a transaction is very recent it may not be confirmed yet, and an unconfirmed transaction is not counted. Give it a block, then reopen the app. If it still looks wrong after a while, write to us with the transaction id and we will look at what the index made of it.

A mint failed

Minting is serial: each mint spends the current mint state and creates the next one. If someone else minted at the same moment, yours spends a state that is already spent and is refused — nothing is lost and nothing is spent. Try again; the app will build on the new state. If a token is fully minted or the issuer has closed issuance, no further minting is possible at all.

Where are my keys stored

On your device, and nowhere else: the iOS Keychain, the Android keystore, or the browser extension's own storage. They are never sent to our servers. The privacy policy describes this in full.

How do I delete my data

There is no account to delete, because there is no account. What can be removed and how is set out on the data deletion page.

Reporting a security issue

If you find a vulnerability in the apps, the extension, the API or the protocol, write to hello@ord20.io with enough detail to reproduce it, and give us a chance to fix it before you publish. We take these seriously.

More

The protocol itself is documented on the specification page. The terms of use are on the terms page, and what can go wrong is described on the risks page.
