Terms

Terms of Use

These terms apply to the ORD20 website and to ORD20 Wallet for iOS, ORD20 Wallet for Android and the ORD20 Wallet browser extension for Chrome. By using them you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the software.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Who you are agreeing with

The software is published by Mister HHC B.V., Van IJsendijkstraat 203, 1442 CL Purmerend, Noord-Holland, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 89626222, VAT NL896262222B01, trading as ORDnet and ORD20. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the software.

What you get

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the apps and the website for their intended purpose. You may not sell, rent or sublicense them, and you may not remove or obscure any notices in them.

The wallet is non-custodial

Read this part twice We never hold your keys, your recovery phrase or your tokens. They exist only on your device. We cannot move your funds, we cannot freeze them, we cannot recover them, and we cannot reverse a transaction you signed. If you lose your recovery phrase, your tokens are gone permanently, and there is nothing anyone can do about that.

You are solely responsible for keeping your recovery phrase safe, for the device you use, for checking the details of every transaction before you approve it, and for the addresses you send to. A transaction sent to the wrong address cannot be recalled.

What the software does and does not promise

The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do our best to make it correct, but we do not promise that it is free of defects, that it will always be available, or that the ORD20 index will always be in step with the chain. Blockchains, networks and app stores all have outages.

The ORD20 protocol is at version 1 and is not frozen. Details may change as it develops.

We do not give financial advice

Nothing in the apps, on this website or in any documentation is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Tokens can lose value. Minting, holding, sending and selling tokens are your own decisions and your own risk. See the risks page.

We do not issue, guarantee, back or operate a market in any third-party token that uses the ORD20 standard. Anyone can deploy a token; that a token exists says nothing about whether it is worth anything or whether its issuer is honest.

Fees

Using the network costs network fees, which go to miners, and minting a token may cost a mint fee, which goes to the issuer of that token and is fixed in the token's card at deploy time. These are shown before you approve a transaction. Fees already spent are not refundable, because they have left your wallet and gone to parties other than us.

Acceptable use

Do not use the software to break the law, to launder money, to fund sanctioned parties or terrorism, to attack our infrastructure or the network, or to attempt to gain access to other people's wallets. Do not scrape or overload the API to the point that it degrades for others.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, we are not liable for loss of tokens, loss of keys, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness.

App store terms

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store: this agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

If you obtained the app from Google Play or the Chrome Web Store, the terms of those stores apply to that distribution alongside these terms.

Ending it

You can stop using the software at any time by removing it. Because your keys are yours, removing the app does not take your tokens away — but without your recovery phrase you cannot get back to them. We may stop offering the software or the API, and we may refuse access to anyone who breaks these terms.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory rules in your own country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when, and continuing to use the software after a change means you accept the new version.
